PROFESSIONAL ANALOG VIDEO CAPTURE
Single-Channel CVBS / S-Video PCIe Capture Card
An internal capture solution for standard-definition analog video ingest, digitization, and legacy-system upgrades. A single video channel accepts either composite CVBS or S-Video. On-board processing provides format detection, motion-adaptive deinterlacing, scaling, frame-rate conversion, and noise reduction. Capture reaches up to 50 fps for PAL and 59.94/60 fps for NTSC, with synchronized stereo audio through Line In.

KEY ADVANTAGES
On-board processing for analog video workflows
Selectable CVBS / S-VideoUse either the BNC composite input or the S-Video input on the single capture channel to support a wide range of legacy sources.
Automatic PAL / NTSC DetectionThe card detects the incoming video standard and reports the format to the application for easier source integration.
Hardware Motion DeinterlacingOn-board motion-adaptive processing reduces combing artifacts in moving scenes while lowering host-side processing demand.
50 / 60 fps Progressive CaptureUp to 720 × 576 at 50 fps for PAL and 720 × 480 at 59.94/60 fps for NTSC.
Synchronized Stereo AudioCapture two-channel audio through Line In and keep it synchronized with the video stream.
Multi-Stream and Multi-CardExpose duplicated capture streams to multiple applications and install multiple cards in one host with board-level ID selection.
SINGLE-CHANNEL ANALOG CAPTURE
Single-Channel CVBS / S-Video PCIe Capture Card
CVBS / S-Video · PAL / NTSC · PCIe 2.0 x1
The card connects through PCIe 2.0 x1 and performs video processing on board to reduce host CPU load. Common pixel formats and Windows/Linux capture interfaces make it suitable for preview, recording, streaming, analysis, and custom software integration.
1 × BNC CVBS or 1 × S-Video input (select one on the single channel)
1 × Line In for synchronized stereo audio
PAL: up to 720 × 576 at 50 fps after hardware deinterlacing
NTSC: up to 720 × 480 at 59.94/60 fps after hardware deinterlacing
YUY2, xRGB, and NV12 pixel formats
CVBS / S-VIDEO
Two analog interfaces, one selectable capture channel
This is a single-video-channel product. CVBS and S-Video are selectable input options, not two simultaneous capture channels. Select the interface that matches the source and image-quality requirements.
Composite CVBS InputA BNC connection carries combined luma, chroma, and synchronization information for cameras, players, and legacy industrial equipment.
S-Video InputSeparate luma and chroma paths reduce composite-video color crosstalk for compatible professional and legacy sources.
HARDWARE DEINTERLACING AND FRAME RATE
Converting interlaced fields into smooth progressive video
PAL and NTSC standard-definition video use interlaced scanning. On-board motion-adaptive deinterlacing converts successive fields into progressive images, reducing combing artifacts and providing capture at up to 50/60 fps.
PAL · 720 × 57650i input (25 frames / 50 fields per second); up to 50 fps after hardware deinterlacing.
NTSC · 720 × 48060i input (approximately 29.97 frames / 59.94 fields per second); up to 59.94/60 fps after hardware deinterlacing.

Specification note: The 50/60 fps figures refer to progressive capture after hardware deinterlacing: up to 50 fps for PAL and 59.94/60 fps for NTSC. CVBS and S-Video share one capture channel, so one input is selected at a time. Operating-system, driver, SDK, pixel-format, and multi-stream support may vary with software version and application configuration; refer to the final datasheet and confirmed product documentation.
